DonOne Terms of Use
Effective Date: August 16, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the DonOne mobile application.
DonOne is operated by Adindu Frank Okoro ("DonOne," "we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, accessing, or using DonOne, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use DonOne.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use DonOne.
If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you should use DonOne only with the permission and supervision required by applicable law.
What DonOne Provides
DonOne is a habit-building and personal organization application.
Features may include habit creation, good-day goals, minimum wins, progress tracking, streaks, history, reminders, journal entries, and related habit-building tools. An optional subscription, DonOne Plus, unlocks additional features — see "DonOne Plus Subscriptions" below.
DonOne is intended to help users organize and reflect on their own habits. DonOne does not guarantee that using the application will cause you to develop a habit, achieve a personal goal, improve productivity, improve health, lose weight, improve academic performance, or achieve any particular outcome.
DonOne Plus Subscriptions
DonOne offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, DonOne Plus, that unlocks additional features beyond the free version of the app — currently including the ability to set multiple reminder times for a single habit. We may add, change, or remove specific DonOne Plus features over time.
Subscription options, their duration (for example, monthly or annual), and current pricing are presented to you in the app before purchase and are configured through the Apple App Store. Pricing shown in the app reflects live App Store pricing for your Apple ID and region, may include applicable taxes, and may change over time or vary by territory — it is not fixed by these Terms.
Where a free trial or introductory offer is available for a subscription option, it will be identified in the app before you purchase, including its length. Not every subscription option or every user is guaranteed a trial offer; availability and eligibility — including limits on repeat trial eligibility for the same Apple ID — are determined by Apple and the App Store, not by DonOne.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID / App Store account when you confirm a purchase, or — if a trial or introductory offer applies and you do not cancel before it ends — when that trial or introductory period ends.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price then in effect for that subscription.
You can view, manage, cancel, or turn off auto-renewal for your subscription at any time in your device's Apple ID / App Store account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period.
Refunds for App Store purchases are requested through, and granted or denied by, Apple under Apple's own refund policies and procedures. We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly through DonOne.
If you reinstall DonOne, switch devices, or otherwise need to re-establish access tied to a previous purchase, use the "Restore Purchases" option in the app to restore an existing subscription associated with your Apple ID.
A successful purchase or an active trial unlocks DonOne Plus features for as long as your subscription remains active, as determined by Apple and communicated to DonOne through our subscription-management provider — see "RevenueCat" in our Privacy Policy.
Personal-Use License
Subject to these Terms, DonOne grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the application for your own lawful purposes.
You may not copy, resell, sublicense, distribute, reverse engineer, exploit, interfere with, or use DonOne in a manner that violates applicable law or the rights of others, except where applicable law expressly gives you such a right.
Your Content
You control the habit names, journal entries, goals, reminders, notes, and other content you choose to enter into DonOne.
In the current version of DonOne, that content is stored locally on your device rather than uploaded to a DonOne server.
You are responsible for the content you enter and for ensuring that your use of the application is lawful.
Do not use DonOne to store content if losing access to that content would cause serious harm or if you require a specialized secure-storage system.
Local Storage and Risk of Data Loss
DonOne currently relies primarily on local device storage.
Updates are designed to preserve existing application data, but we cannot guarantee that information will never be lost.
Information may be lost because of device failure, application deletion, corrupted storage, operating-system changes, software bugs, future application changes, backup behavior, or circumstances outside our control.
Deleting the application may remove locally stored DonOne data.
You are responsible for maintaining any separate records or backups you consider necessary.
Journal Content
DonOne may allow you to record free-form journal entries.
Journal entries are not intended to function as secure medical records, legal records, financial records, password storage, emergency records, or another specialized secure information-storage system.
The current version of DonOne does not apply an additional DonOne-controlled application-level encryption layer to journal entries stored through its local storage implementation.
You should decide accordingly what information you choose to enter.
Notifications and Reminders
DonOne may allow you to schedule local reminders.
Reminders are provided as a convenience and are not guaranteed to arrive at a particular time.
Notification delivery can be affected by your device settings, operating system, permissions, Focus modes, battery management, software errors, or other circumstances outside DonOne's control.
You should not rely on DonOne notifications for emergencies, medication timing, medical treatment, safety-critical obligations, legal deadlines, financial deadlines, or other situations in which missing a notification could cause serious harm.
Not Medical or Professional Advice
DonOne is a general habit-building and self-organization tool.
Nothing in DonOne is intended to constitute medical, psychological, psychiatric, nutritional, financial, legal, or other professional advice.
Habit suggestions, streaks, progress information, journal tools, reminders, or other app features should not be treated as diagnosis, treatment, or professional guidance.
If you need medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional assistance, seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
No Guaranteed Results
DonOne is built around tools that may help users work toward greater consistency, but individual results vary.
We make no guarantee regarding habit formation, streaks, productivity, motivation, health outcomes, academic outcomes, fitness outcomes, financial outcomes, or other personal results.
You remain responsible for your own decisions, behavior, goals, and actions.
Availability and Changes
We may modify, update, improve, discontinue, remove, or replace features of DonOne.
We do not guarantee that DonOne or any particular feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, compatible with every device, or free from bugs or errors.
Beta or TestFlight versions may contain unfinished features, errors, or behavior that changes before public release.
Intellectual Property
DonOne and its original software, designs, branding, logos, artwork, characters, interface elements, text, and other proprietary materials are owned by Adindu Frank Okoro or used with appropriate rights.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of DonOne or any DonOne intellectual property to you.
You may not use DonOne's name, branding, characters, logo, or other proprietary materials to imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without permission.
Acceptable Use
You may use DonOne only for lawful purposes.
You may not intentionally attempt to damage, disrupt, overload, interfere with, bypass, exploit, or gain unauthorized access to DonOne, its distribution systems, or related services.
You may not use DonOne in a way that violates applicable law, infringes intellectual-property rights, or interferes with another person's rights.
Third-Party Services
DonOne may depend on third-party platforms such as Apple, iOS, the App Store, TestFlight, Expo, RevenueCat, or other software components required to distribute or operate the application, including processing DonOne Plus subscriptions.
Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for outages, restrictions, changes, or other actions taken by third-party platforms that are outside our reasonable control.
Apple-Specific Terms
If you obtain DonOne through Apple's App Store, these Terms are between you and Adindu Frank Okoro, not Apple.
These Terms are DonOne's own Terms of Use, provided in addition to — not in place of — Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which also governs your use of DonOne as licensed through the App Store. Where these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA both address the same subject, both apply; on any subject only Apple's Standard EULA addresses, Apple's Standard EULA controls.
Apple is not responsible for DonOne or its content, except to the extent required by applicable law.
Your use of DonOne must also comply with applicable Apple Media Services and App Store terms, including Apple's terms governing auto-renewable subscriptions.
To the extent required by Apple's terms, Apple and its subsidiaries may be third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to your use of the iOS application.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DonOne is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, data preservation, or achievement of particular results, except where such warranties cannot legally be excluded.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Adindu Frank Okoro will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use DonOne.
This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of progress records, missed reminders, lost opportunities, loss of profits, device issues, or reliance on information displayed by the application.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of DonOne, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
Termination
You may stop using DonOne at any time by deleting the application. Deleting the application does not automatically cancel an active DonOne Plus subscription — see "DonOne Plus Subscriptions" above for how to cancel through your Apple ID / App Store account settings.
We may suspend, discontinue, or restrict access to DonOne when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the application, address abuse, or discontinue the service.
Because the current version does not use user accounts, there is presently no DonOne account to terminate.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as DonOne evolves.
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and provide notice where appropriate.
Continued use of DonOne after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms removes rights you may have under mandatory laws that apply where you live.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the DonOne Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for specific DonOne services, constitute the agreement governing your use of DonOne.
